Who is the VRC Homeowner's
Association? We are
the group of homeowners within a planned
unit development called the Valencia Racquet
Club Homeowner's Association. Our purpose is
to maintain and plan improvements for the
common areas shared by all VRC homeowners. Our
Association Board consists of five elected
members. Administrative functions are handled
by our appointed Manager.

How do I contact the VRC?

What are the common
areas? Our main park on Rio
Prado Drive contains the pool, clubhouse,
playground, basketball and tennis courts in a
landscaped environment. This park is gated and
requires a keycard for entry. Only homeowners
and their guests are allowed to use these
facilities. The Association maintains four
additional landscaped areas that provide
sitting benches, but no
recreational facilites.
What are the pool rules? You may view
them

if you wish.
How can I reserve the
Clubhouse? Each homeowner in the
Racquet Club is entitled to the use
of the clubhouse once a year, free
of charge. Please refer to
this
Reservation Form for more details.
Does the VRC use a security
service? Yes. Copper Eagle
patrols the Racquet Club several times per day. However, our
contractural agreement is
limited to the common areas, and
not individual homes.
What is Architectural
Control? The Architectural
Committee exists to ensure the
integrity and
continuity of our community
design. Elements like roofing
materials and exterior paint colors
are determined by the committee. For
a more detailed explanation, please refer
to Article VI of the CC&R's.
What is the exterior re-painting
policy? Both units must agree to
an approved color combination. (see Color Chart). Painting of each
home need not take place at
the same time. However this
Re-Painting
Agreement will need to be completed by both homeowners
and submitted before painting begins. The homeowner
painting first must do so within 60 days.
The non-painting homeowner must paint within
12 months.
Who Provides landscaping? The Association coordinates
landscape services for the common
areas. Homeowners are
responsible for landscape
maintenance on their respective
properties.
What about pets? The County
Leash Law applies and
each homeowner is responsible for their pets, and what they may leave behind on lawns.
Please remember to clean up after your
furry family members!
Santa Clarita Municipal Code Ordinance 8.32.010 requires all dogs be kept on a leash.

No person owning or having charge, care, custody or control of any dog shall cause, permit or allow the same to be or to run at large upon any highway, street, lane, alley, court, or other public place, or upon any private or premises other than those of the person owning or having charge, care, custody or control of such dog in the City, unless such dog be restrained by a substantial chain or leash not exceeding six feet in length and is in the charge, care, custody, or control of a competent person. Can I install a satellite dish?
Yes, but you must submit
Form #101 before installation. The
issue is not the dish, but its
placement on your property. It
must not be visible from the
street, nor can it be
place on top of your
chimney.
When is trash day? Blue Barrel
Disposal picks up our trash on
Mondays. Please place your trash
bins on the middle strip between
your property and your
neighbor's. Remove your bins from the curb and
return them to their usual
out-of-sight location by 10pm the same
day. The street sweeper will come through
our neighborhood the following day, so
please try to keep your vehicles off the
street during this time. For more information

Is RV parking allowed? You may not
store your RV on the street or in
your driveway. However, you may
bring your RV home one day
before your trip. When you return
from your trip, you must return your
RV to storage by 7pm the
following day.
